As the highest remaining seed, we should be playing the winner of that game.

I will say, I like that our team played with its piss hot this weekend.

I've said on here before that the DVH 'business as usual' culture is great for the regular season grind, but there's something to be said for getting fired up and playing with passion, especially in the postseason. Tennessee has been a staple in Omaha the last several years and won a natty doing it. 

Root might've gone a bit far, but our pitchers yelling at batters and guys like Davalan doing bat flips is something I like seeing.

Seeing the team spontaneously run up into the crowd, through the concourse and into and through the Hog Pen was probably one of the coolest Hog moments I've seen.  Just pure unadulterated joy from those kids after administering belt to ass over two straight weekends.  Much better than a dogpile on the mound when business hasn't been settled yet, especially knowing that half of our infield would have probably landed on Root rendering all of them unable to perform in Omaha.

As long as this team keeps its focus there is no stopping them.  The only team in Omaha who can beat Arkansas is Arkansas.

I am a Diggs fan.  I really hoped he would snap out of his funk.  He and McEntire have given a lot to the program over the last 3 or 4 years and I'd like to see both be able to contribute at some point before the last pitch.

I enjoyed and appreciated the professionalism of the PBP individuals immensely; however; the accompanying um, colorful, comments of the analyst in the booth with you guys were Hall of Fame worthy!

I'm starting to really like Vitello.

Granted, I think his team's theatrics are somewhat questionable and sometimes blow up in their faces, but the guy is a great interview and very respectful of both DVH and our program.

He's said before that DVH was one of the first calls he got after winning it all last year, and he's talked about how BWS and our fan base are unique.

I highly doubt he comes here after DVH hangs it up, but I wouldn't out the chances at zero given how he talks about us and his time here.

He's also a great in-game interview, and those segments usually suck.

Kendall's dad came up and spoke to us when we went to Kentucky last year. It started on Friday and he continued it the whole weekend. He seemed like a great guy, so it is easy to see where Kendall gets it from.
