Other than Kozeal, Helfrick, maybe Ruiz, and Dietz, the rest of this team was highly overrated.

Some of our portals looked all year like they were collecting a check and trying to put together individual numbers.  Not team players.  Niu, Stewart, and Pompey come to mind.

I'd argue Helfrick was vastly overrated as well. For a supposed top prospect he swings and misses a TON.

Kozeal and Dietz really carried this team. Offensively, though his toughness, and transitioning to shortstop when Brumbaugh busted hard.

Ruiz and McElvain were the only players worth a damn that we got out of the portal. 1 arm and 1 corner outfielder. Amazing.

Kozeal has been a great Hog. Kid can hit and was asked to play out of position the last two years. Never complained and did a serviceable job at both. Seems like a good kid too.
