They have run through the toughest bracket in the playoffs with wins over Forest City, Southside, Arkadelphia and Stuttgart and get a chance to revenge the only regular season loss they've had in four years with Dardenelle. All in all a pretty unbelievable four year run. Would love to see them finish it off with a win next Saturday.

Why does AAA keep having these championship games at this shithole? Way too big of a stadium for the event and it's a complete dump. Go to UCA or Tech, anywhere by WM. I saw people bitching about the low turnout in crowds.

Lakeside too many stupid turnovers. Should be ahead. Silverfield needs to be on Frampton like white on rice. No safety help doesn't make any sense.

great question - I think it is the only thing left keeping the lights on there. not sure how much longer the contract is, I would imagine they are getting it cheap too.

Tradition, but yeah it is sad to see now that people don't go to games like they used to.

Back in the 90s it was not unusual to see 25-30k there for some of the big games.

Southlake got it going against Guyer, 51-19, and will likely face DeSoto in one Semifinal with King/Vandergrift in the other.

They have moved up to #5 nationally so I'm fully expecting disappointment, being a Hog fan.  It really is woven into our DNA.
