Quote from: HOGSRUNWILD on Sep 23, 2025, 11:46 PMThe Comments are awesome.  Those fans of others schools shitting on him are doing it out of fear, nothing more.  There isn't one school in the SEC that wants Petrino back as our HC.  Not one fucking school.  They would be thrilled if we kept Sam as our HC forever.  Easy win year in and year out.  Under Petrino, you were most likely going to get your ass whipped unless you were in the top 5 in the country and even then, better be top 2 just to be sure.  I don't think people really remember how fucking good we were in 2011.  The teams that beat us in the regular season were the two best teams in the nation and the separation between them and everyone else was big.  That was it.  We were most likely the 3rd/4th best team in the country in reality.
What in the fucking world? No one is going to be scared of Petrino in today's environment. The 2010 team was far and away better than 2011. Not even close. 2011 we needed a fortunate break to beat Vandy and squeaked by Ole Miss. 2010 we went on the road to Cam's Auburn and fought the refs and went toe to toe.

Every team that ever won a title, outside of maybe 2019 LSU and 2001 Miami, needed major breaks against lesser teams.  I agree that the 2010 team was better, but close escapes don't negate the success of the 2011 group.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

2011 was worse across the board. Mallett was also a lot better than Wilson. No Knile and Childs wasn't as effective post injury. It wasn't close. Got absolutely smashed by the only two really good teams we played. 2010 went toe to toe with everyone and beat a damn good LSU team. Best Arkansas team in decades. Probably 1-2 players on OL and DL from a natty.

They still won 10 games and finished 5th in the country.  None of what you said is wrong, but none of it diminishes their accomplishments.

That 2010 Alabama game still sticks with me.  We had them and Arkansawed the fuck out of it.  Win that one and we likely beat Auburn, because the refs MIGHT have given us a fair shake had we gone in undefeated and had a chance (in the SEC office's view) at being the league's rep in the BCS championship game.

Knile hadn't taken over yet. If so, we beat Bama.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

We needed one All SEC caliber DL, an elite OT, and maybe a lockdown corner and we lift the crystal.  :puke:

Jim Cramer speaks...

Who do you think they would prefer to be coaching Arkansas for the remainder of the year, Your buddy TitBoss or Petrino?  We are 4-0 this year with Petrino as the HC from the start.  There are probably 4+ games this year that would change drastically on our remaining schedule if he is the coach over titboss.  You can call it what you want, but NOBODY on our remaining schedule wants Petrino as coach over Pittman.  NOBODY.

You typed a whole lot to say nothing.  We were REALLY good in 2011.  We were also REALLY good in 2010, especially by the end of the year.

Idgaf about the rest of this year. Who cares?

The 2010 team beats 2011 by 14+ with Knile and Childs.

But Childs got hurt half way through the year, so...

Sooo, your comment was just retarded then if "You don't care about the rest of the year" because we are talking about hte rest of the year when we are talking about Petrino becoming coach.

Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

Literally no one is scared of us if Petrino becomes interim. That's a moronic comment. We really need to create a sub board for the t-shirt fans like yourself.

Jim Cramer, Ladies and Gentlemen.

I'm sorry that was the best school you could get into...but I have been a Razorback since birth and will be until death.

Yes, I chose #3 on this list.  Sorry that a dullard like yourself couldn't.

EVERY SINGLE COACH IN THE SEC wants Pittman to remain the coach of the University of Arkansas instead of Petrino taking over.  Every single one.

Turnovers and TO margin can vary wildly from year to year, but being consistently high in turnovers is absolutely a key indicator of poor coaching and lax practice habits.

Basically, well-coached teams might turn the ball over from time to time, whereas poorly coached teams that don't practice hard (and are undisciplined) will usually always suffer from turnover issues.

That early career pay was lower than what I started out at a million years ago. Then the mid career...have fun staying extremely poor I guess. You will never ever be a Razorback.

This retard doesn't know what median means...and also he is a compulsive liar.

Why do you think the "early career" is low for that particular school.  What career do you think they are doing during their "early career"?
