All that shit for talent and we played two Top 5 teams within a combined 9 points, and arguably should've beaten at least one of them.

If talent can't be judged on one game, then there is a sample size of two against two of the best teams in the country by any objective measure.

Who do you recommend that's better that we can get?

Quote from: Show-Me Hog on Nov 15, 2025, 03:42 PMIt doesn't matter. You can't keep a coach who hasn't won a darn thing, in the exact same manner as before he became interim. It doesn't matter if he is to blame. You just can't do it. It also doesn't matter if anyone else is better. That doesn't matter. You have to try something new.

It doesn't even matter whether that makes sense or not. It's just the way it is.

This is it.  You just can't keep any remnants of a staff that put this product on the field.

I think Bobby would do a better job if he was able to build from the ground up, but you just can't do it if he goes 0-7.  Have to start over, hopefully with someone who can motivate the donors to buy a better roster.

Bobby would do a better job if we had fired Sam and hired him two seasons ago.

Bobby would do a better job if Sam had quit after the last two disappointing seasons like he said he would, instead of hanging on screaming for HY to pay him his money.

Bobby would do a better job if the entire team and staff didn't follow Sam's laziness through the offseason and if instead we had a legit strength and conditioning program.

The only reason we have close losses against good teams to complain about is because Bobby agreed to take the interim tag. Last year we tried to give it to Travis Williams for the final game.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

There's two dozen that would be better than Bobby at this point. Rmpl.

Yes.  The time to make that move was last November.   Hunter botched it yet again to save the college athletics equivalent of couch cushion money.

Quote from: arreferee on Nov 15, 2025, 02:50 PMGuys, that's not a catch in any game in the country. He has to survive going to the ground. He didn't.

A very similar play just happened in the Alabama/Oklahoma game. The AL receiver didn't survive the ground and it was ruled incomplete.

One of the close losses to a top team that I was talking about was under Sam.

I don't even want to think about Razorback football right now.  And...my wife is making me go to Austin next week.  Fuck, it's probably gonna cost me $5k and it is LITERALLY the last thing I want to do.  She just doesn't understand...

Quote from: Hogfan58 on Nov 15, 2025, 03:51 PMWe might have 2 or 3 players on offense that would start/play on most SEC teams; we have 0 on defense.

Add Rhoades on D. I don't see how anyone can say we have talent. When we play above our talent it means a close loss to a good team. When we play to our talent it's a close loss to a bad team.

I think we are stuck in a mindset of boosters not paying for the current results. Who wants to support this crap?

21 page LSU game thread. There is the apathy.

Winning is the only way to fix our problems.

Whoever we hire has to give the boosters confidence that their money will be well spent.  That means getting the best or close to it out of what they have.  It's hard to argue that is happening when you lose every single one score game.

Just called OU's QB for intentional grounding for throwing it at the feet of an OLineman. Just like LSU's QB did with no flag.

Well, look who they're playing. It's different.

They even talked about it first. Then dropped the yellow hanky.

The only difference was the QB didn't hit the defender with the ball, but threw it past him into the ground. That shouldn't make any difference whatsoever, both are intentional grounding.

I just realized something...where the hell was Rohan Jones today??
