I thought there was talk a few months back of FSU and someone else also wanting to join the sec. If they get out of ACC I mean where the fuck else they going? Independent? Who's the dumbass that kicked them into that contract.

bascially FSU (along with the Clemson and the rest) bought a timeshare (ACC TV contract that signed over their media rights until 2036) in 2016 and now they want out because they finally realize how stupid was to buy it in the first place because 1) they wanted to get locked in tv money before the SEC and Big Ten contracts came up and 2) they wanted to prevent what FSU is trying to do now and that's leave the ACC.


now if they get out of the deal what's to say the same doesn't happen with bad NIL deals (the kid gets a bag but isn't all that) Also, could this have an effect on those stupid buyouts in the coaching salaries? Could NLI be challenged?

I get what they are trying to do but it could really open a whole pandora's box regarding everything in college athletics.

a little over a week ago, a judge issued an injunction that put on hold the need for a wavier from the ncaa to allow a player to transfer more than once and be eligible for the coming season.

it is supposed to be in effect until the 27th of this month but the ncaa just announced that they will get rid of the need for the wavier altogether for the 2024 season.
