Could have been us?  We did hire his OC.
Oak Grove in the house.

If it is, at least we're trying.

Why? I'd rather have KJ.

Agree with you.  Next year.  Why he didn't come I'd wager.
Actually I really doubt it was us.  Probably Auburn or Ole Miss.

It had to be Auburn.  They and Alabama are the only schools with a weak enough QB room and the means to fund that kind of offer.  I doubt they would have offered it to a guy they already had on campus for a while.

Ole Miss can't afford it.  There is a reason why Lane was bitching so much about NIL at media days.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

It wasn't us.  We have KJ, and a redshirt senior wasn't going to transfer here to risk sitting on the bench.

I don't blame Lane for bitching about it if this is what it has become.  Taulia isn't in the transfer portal and hasn't indicated (as far as I know, which isn't far) that he wants to transfer from Maryland.  If the story is true then someone, OBVIOUSLY AUBURN*, tried to bribe a player into entering the portal and then transferring to them.  I don't know the rules and I don't think the NCAA does anymore but there should be one against that kind of tampering.

I'm not naive...certainly there is player tampering going on and I doubt Arkansas is any different in that regard. This kid is full of shit about the money most likely but he's probably truthful about some school from the SEC trying to pull him in.

Here's food for thought...what are the odds the kid choose to stay at Maryland rather than take big money to come to the SEC or other situation? Exactly. So he's either stupid or lying and I know which way I'm leaning.

$1.5 million dollars or play QB for Maryland.

Yeah, it's bullshit.

There have been to big flips this week.  1 from Georgia, 1 from Alabama... Both to Auburn.
The very pants I was returning.

Freeze to Auburn is going to be a problem until the hookers come out of the woodwork again.

Apparently all 97 of the fans love him there, and it's not like he really has to sell himself to get some money or take care of his parents.  His brother can take care of all of them.

It's a lot easier to believe Auburn would have made the offer than it is to believe he just woke up one day thinking "I'm going to make a dumb story up and tell the world."  You act like he's a woman.

Lol.  Fair enough.

Show-Me Hog

I have to admit I am not outraged because whatever the joke is supposed to be flew completely over my head.  I have no idea what the joke "Nasser was in on the design team" means about Mich. St. uniforms.

Pat McAfee is one of the biggest personalities in all of sports media. The former NFL kicker has recently signed a huge deal with ESPN to air his popular podcast "The Pat McAfee Show" and a permanent gig on hit program College Gameday.

But, that may all be going away after Pat McAfee tweeted out one of the most unhinged, off-the-mark, and uncalled-for jokes you will ever see.

In case the tweet gets deleted in the future, McAfee's account replied to a picture of newly released alternate uniforms for the Michigan State football team with "I think Nassar was in on the design team actually".

I assume just a really bad joke connecting the terrible Larry Nassar and those terrible unis being from Mich St. Not sure who is supposed to be offended by it but I am sure someone will figure it out soon enough and his people will write an appropriate apology to the aggressed.

At any rate McAfee's effeminate gender neutral ass doesn't have much room to talk.

Arizona rumored to be close to joining the Big 12.

Captain obvious here: the PAC 8/10/12 is circling the drain. I imagine the remaining schools will be forced to bump uglies with portions of the MWC. Other than SDSU and Nevada I'm not sure what any of those teams could bring the the PAC.

I thought the Big 12 would be the one left reeling after losing their two biggest but it's like the Pac 12 just said to hold their beer and watch.
