cal is 67. he doesn't need the headache or the money. the question with him is how much longer is he going to coach. van horn is 65 and pretty much in the same boat.

how long are you going to get out of a guy closing in on 70? look around and most of the athletic directors at p4 schools are in their 50s or some, like georgia's are in their 40s.
