If he becomes the full time starter and apparently there are indications that he's winning the job it has to be fairly rare now for any program to have as it's starter a kid straight from their own farm. A lot of starters are coming from the portal because every school wants that quick fix...accept Arkansas who has accepted it's lot in life and decided to spend money elsewhere. 

Anyway I found that to be fairly interesting. AJ Hill or whatever his name is...the kid was brought in because he knows the offense and could start in a pinch but I don't think he's necessarily an SEC QB. KJ is one of those guys that has talent that could still blossom into a pretty decent starter for us. I'm not saying he's a legit SEC starter but maybe turn into a very serviceable QB. I feel like the goal for this year is going to be to limit mistakes, get the ball where it needs to go, put the skill guys in a position to win one and one matchups etc. Memphis supposedly did a lot of RB dump passes and makes you wonder how successful that'll be in the SEC. We'll at least have a couple decent TEs that will help stretch things out giving more space to kick it over to a guy out of the backfield. The WRs...some people are high on them. I'm still in the wait and see camp. Memphis has been known to have some pretty good WRs so I don't think coach will have gone retarded since then...we're going to get production out of them. Another thing about releasing RBs like he'll do is in the past our OL would be giving up jailbreaks left and right and the QBs were semi retarded about getting rid of the ball. I'm not sure how he does this...are they called plays or sight adjustments where the RB sees he doesn't need to block and then goes out into the flats or does a curl over the middle of the field. 

Also do we have a backup QB that can carry 400lb slug DTs? Asking for a friend.

This was the loudest moment in a game that I've been to. It happened when we drove the ball, down their throat, the length of the field in the 4th quarter. With 6:57 left in the game (21:50 on the video) LSU called a timeout and a spontaneous hog call erupted like I had never been a part of before or since.

Miracle on Markham and the Carlos Hall blocked field goal against the cocks were the loudest in WMS. Weirdly, that game against South Carolina in WMS was probably the loudest start to finish I've ever been to. I guess with Holtz's return.

Outside of Wingo TD, when Desmond Williams knocked the fuck out of the guy returning the kickoff for USC after we finally scored was loud af too.
