No one should be surprised by this. There is no other teams in the SEC that would retain the HC after 5 seasons of failure or mediocrity. Arkansas is not a SEC program.

I've been saying this for weeks, but instead of competing against West Virginia and a bunch of G5 programs, Yurachek is essentially opting defer to next year and coach shop at the same time as the likes of Auburn, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State, etc.

We hired a guy who can only think tactically to run the most strategically important job in the athletic department.  Most people in his position think 1,2, 5 years down the road and the impact their decisions will have.  Ours looks at the bank account every day and tries to figure out what he can do based on the balance he sees.

raise what money? the money is there, but the people who have it aren't spending it for the buyout. the problem is higher up than the athletic director.

no one really knows. and i'm in no way advocating for yurachek.

if the boosters, the bot, whoever is going to buy the guy out, really wanted him gone, then it wouldn't matter what yurachek thinks. ad's being shown the door for not doing what the money guys wanted. it's not like that's never happened.

It can never be said enough that half of Hunter's problems today stem from giving a coach that wasn't going to leave and was never going to get poached a world class buyout.
