I am not at all surprised to see him go, and wish him well.  He will probably make someone a good qb.  I suspect they told him today that TG was still going to be No. 1 next year. 

My only concern about Singleton is that he seemed awfully small on the field.  I realize he's supposed to be something like 6'1" but he sure didn't look it.

Further reading between the lines, maybe this is the real reason he didn't play much. Petrino is of course famously a big believer in measurables and this guy doesn't fit them, so he's made it clear Jackson is the true heir apparent. 

Also maybe reading this as a sign Petrino is staying.

I think general apathy is setting in across college football outside of a handful of schools. I used to never miss a game. Even the spring game. They've destroyed traditional rivalries. The money is just never enough. The whole system is going to blow up.
