Honestly transferring out was the best thing that could've happened to Tarvaris.  He likely got better QB coaching at Alabama State than he would have under the Nutt circus.

As I recall, Matt Jones was the backup quarterback for about half the year.  He engineered 2 or 3 come from behind wins, and eventually got the start in the latter part of the year.  I definitely remember thinking "Why isn't this guy starting?"
