Another former Razorback player that knows nothing about evaluating players/coaches, but loves the helmet, and is really liked by his former teammates.

I thought they were waiting till after April, since the lawsuit and revenue sharing will be determined by then. Besides, doing it now, before season ticket renewal is done, might not be a good idea for those afraid of people  help'n as the new GM.

i think some have the wrong idea about exactly what this "gm" is going to do. there will be no evaluations of coaches, or take any of their on field duties away. it's a support position, like at the other schools.

this person will be handling the nil/revenue sharing part of the deal. players will negotiate with him instead of bothering the coaches. he will look at the roster and recruits and determine how the money is distributed. maybe some recruit evals.

GM in college football has nothing to do with evaluating players and coaches. It's all about NIL management so the coach doesn't have to worry about it.
