I don't understand any of it. Sam is mediocre and a good human.

Easy to hate Hootie and Chad for very different reasons.

I'm not saying Sam is a bad human, but I don't think there is ample evidence that he is a "good" man.  He is clearly in over his head and wasn't physically able to perform his duties last year.  He wasn't.  Instead of stepping down and letting someone else do the job for the pay, he hung on for the payday... I wouldn't call that a high integrity guy.  Not saying I would turn down a free paycheck either for phoning it in, but I'm not expecting anyone to extol the virtues of HRW being such a good guy either.  Hell, with the results he has delivered, I probably would have either worked myself to death to improve them or quit out of pure shame.

I'll never "Hate" Sam, especially like I hated Chad, but I don't think Sam puts in the work that aligns with his pay and with what he KNOWS is needed to succeed.  He has been around football in the SEC enough to know what it takes and the level of work the top coaches put in.  Program Money and all that shit aside, he knows the level of work needed and he ain't putting in Saban, Smart or even Kiffin work, let alone results.

His actions of late seem a lot like those of Nutt once the honeymoon ended.  Blocking people on social media who are even remotely critical of him, obviously name searching himself rather than just hitting people who directly @ him ( no idea how I'm not blocked).  For a guy who doesn't care what people think of him, he seems to talk a lot about how little he cares what people think of him.
