Next Season has it been decided if they are doing away with divisions? This could be very key. If we still stuck in a loaded SEC WEST then it's going to be very difficult to hire a head coach worth a damn. Take away divisions and let us play a Vandy every now and then and lets see what happens. :stache:

I know Mizzou is playing Vandy but they've got one of the best WRs in the country, ranked and will be playing for a good bowl by the time we play them. About to be 5-0 and haven't played anybody. Must be nice.

I think Yurachek knows if his next football hire fails, we'll be hiring a new AD to make the next-next football hire.

He hit a grandslam with Muss, but it's not as easy to hire a homerun football coach.

what does "for cheap" matter? for cheap got us the 12th (maybe 13th since vandy coach got a raise at the end of last year) highest paid coach in the sec, and it shows.

UCF is gonna end up with a losing record, so thats gonna be a hard sell to the fanbase, most of whom I dont think would want him anyway.

Don't overestimate this fan base.  The powers that be sold Chad who had a losing record and I bet most would think Gus is the second coming of Bear Bryant.  It would be the most Arkansas thing ever to offer Gus after using us for 2-3 raises at Auburn and recommending Morris to follow Bert.

Well like I posted earlier, my hope is Yuri is smart enough than to feel any pressure to pacify that crazy portion of Hogville fans who still want Gus.

He will not cost much is what I mean as opposed to paying some aging retread who is just looking for a last payday. 
I'd rather have a young and hungry coach looking to make a name for himself than a recycled coach who didn't work out at his last job.

You guys know that the fan base has jackshit to do with the hiring of coaches right?   No coach has been hired based on what fans think.
