Even by War Memorial standards, that was a miserable experience. Quit fucking playing games there.

It looked horrible on TV regardless of the two asshats calling the game on what a glorious emporium it is and the scenic views. It looked like total shit, a big pisstrough.  Most high schools in New exams has far superior facilities.  I hope they bought the recruits some talented hookers to offset to miserable game experience.

The only thing that made War Memorial look bad on the TVs was the empty seats.  Had it been full then it would have looked awesome.  Just like a game in Fayetteville.  

The people of central Arkansas clearly don't support going to the game so stop playing there.  It really is simple.    

With all that said, the game would have been equally as poorly attended even if it had been played in Fayetteville.  And would have looked just as bad on the TVs.

I live in LR, and grew up growing to games at War Memorial.  I used to love it.  Heck, we even went to the Razorback Red White games at War Memorial in the spring back in the day. 
It has been a fairly terrible experience the past several games with poor opponents, odd times, and unprepared stadium staff, resources.
It was 103 degrees on my truck when I left work yesterday.
I gave my tickets at War Memorial away.
There was no way I would go to War Memorial and watch them play UAPB in the heat when I could sit and watch them on the U. 

Move them all to Fayetteville after we hang half a hundred on the Injun Wolves next year.

*Hogs predicted to suck...not a lot of hype going into the season. If it weren't for Petrino nobody would give any fucks at all about Arkansas football right now.

I don't think the above things get negated by a plush modern stadium it can't hurt but people would come to WMS if we were good and it was a game worth coming to. 

Also I think there have been a bit of shenanigans with the scheduling to make sure there is low turn out. If that's a Saturday afternoon or night game people are probably gonna come. A work night, hot as fuck, shitty expectations. Nah.


Now this is where I'm going to suggest a possible thing here. A 30k max seat modern stadium with retractable roof that leans more so to hosting high school, FCS/D2 and the odd FBS contest makes sense. A venue that can do concerts, maybe even soccer matches or something. They could bulldoze the old girl down and rebuild and call it WMS by Waste Management.

Green missed on some easy passes and and one or two that would have been picks against better competition, Johnson getting burned for a td but their qb stepped out of bounds, Johnson's block in the back that negated a td - that's just off the top of my head.
