Honestly if Bobby left and we didn't ease Sam out the door, I might suggest we go back after Kendal Briles.  Would probably try for Buster Faulkner from GT first, but think that's a long shot for a lateral move.

That would be the icing on top of the shit sandwich if BP leaves after one season as OC. I don't think that's a very good sign for our future if BP is trying to bail after one season back. I'm somewhat in the same camp as Barton. I don't mind the continuity with Petrino to see what he can do next year.

I think it will be funny as shit.  Arkansas fans and administrators seem to think the world will stop turning while whatever little plans they have in their heads to justify the stupid shit they want to do unwind.

It is entirely foreseeable that neither coordinator, nor any coach with options is going to stick around for this shit show if Sam is back another year.

Sam's ego probably doesn't like Bobby around, but both Sam and Yuri know they are fucked if Bobby leaves. To the tune of a half-empty stadium next year and a decrease in NIL.

I believed Bobby when he said he was fine just being an OC last year. But I can also see how a year under "aw shucks" and a lazy approach under Sam pissed him off enough to want complete control again. Whether it be here or elsewhere. Hopefully here.

Maybe he is making a power move. The fanbase overwhelmingly supports him more than they do Sam and it has been clear to everyone over the course of this year. He knows.
