My parents were this way in the 80s. My mom's best friend lived and worked in Little Rock. The best games were usually down there. So they would make weekend trips out of it and stay with them.

I had LR only tickets when I lived in El Dorado, at least up until 1997 or thereabouts.

I guess technically you can still get LR only season tickets...

Let's start the Pittman to the bears rumors.
While it is insane, the bears are poorly enough run to think it is a great idea if it can gain some internet buzz.
The o line guru can protect Caleb!

They could have hired harbaugh but hired ebberflus so they are not real bright.

The downside of course is Hunter will fall for it too and give Sam a new deal with golden handcuffs and whipped cream.

I am surprised Petrino's name has not been mentioned for UNLV

We had LR only season tickets in the 70's through the early 90's. My Dad started getting them for both, my freshman year.

Looks like there's a run on old guys.   Hunter better get to working on a raise, extension and buyout for our guy before someone steals him away.

Anybody but me think Belichek will never work in college?  He can't control everything in college, like he did in the pros.

And I have asked around.  Can't find anybody that knows Joey McGuire.  Kinda odd.
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

The Whyte Boar

It looks like it is a three year deal to set up a NFL-lite franchise.  And I believe he going to have total control of the franchise.  At least that is what he said he was going to do if he got a college job.  Don't know if it will work, but it is interesting seeing someone doing something different.

I bet their NIL will jump substantially. People will assume that he knows how to deal with paid athletes and their egos.

I would think one would be going to UNC to play for Bill and to get developed for the NFL where the real money is as opposed to going to XYZ Tech to play for coach slapnuts because he offered you the most money and hope you have good enough stats and pro day to get to the NFL.

Like Deion there will be plenty of players who go to him so it's not like he'll have to recruit.  not sure that NIL for those two needs to be as big as others.

I don't see it working out and I think the 20 hours per week rule will be an issue for him after the nfl.

Brady, Gronk, and Edleman talks about it on fox sunday - none of them thought bill would work out in college.

On To Syracuse!!!

not sure what you're trying to say. that was a demand he had before he took the job.

among other things he wanted a coaching staff and a recruiting staff, the head of which will get a buyout.

"At publishing time, UNC officials had reportedly sweetened the deal by informing Belichick that he and his girlfriend could both eat near campus for low prices by combining her student discount with an early bird senior citizen meal."

So, UNC is doing for football what Ark did for basketball by hiring a coach no one thinks they are worthy of and giving him a boatload of NIL $$ plus other demands.

These are the days where its legal to buy your program into relevancy.

The Whyte Boar

It may not work, but it is interesting to see someone try something different instead of just doing the same old same old.

he's definitely going to try to bring the nfl model to college football. i have my doubts but yeah, it will be interesting to see.
