I would argue that the four best teams are the four best teams.  It doesn't matter if two of those four played each other 12 times during the season. 

I am beginning to believe you are a closet Bama fan.  So, the team that was number 1 all year but lost in the championship game is left out and a team that was number 8 jumped all the way up to get in. Fuck Saban and Bama. I hope they lose the first game.

If FSU is one of the 4 then I don't ever want to hear the phrase "Four best teams" ever again.  It will be all emotion and not who the best four teams truly are. 

FSU was one of the four best teams until their QB got hurt.  It sucks for the other players on that team but as the kids say...Facts. 

Since their quarterback got hurt, Florida State has kept winning games. What makes you think they're still not one of the best four teams? As the saying goes, "Scoreboard." That's far better evidence than theories about the backup quarterbacks.

this is why i cannot understand why a fan of any other sec school would wish anything good to happen for saban and bama.

it's not just the team itself, it's the pull saban has with the national media and especially the sec front office.

The committee couldn't leave out the SEC champion. Georgia let the committee down.

FSU deserved to get in but I do not think they're one of the 4 best teams without Travis. And selfishly, I would MUCH rather watch Bama-Michigan than FSU-Michigan. That FSU game against last night was painful to watch.

Two weeks ago Alabama needed a miracle to beat NMSU's bitch. If the committee is going to decide the 4 best teams based purely on conference championship weekend then just shut it down and turn college football into the NFL with two conferences.

I think FSU deserved to be in the big show, even if Alabama or Texas looked better yesterday. Weighing a week 2 game the same as a week 11 game is a mistake.

Big XII is basically mid-major and ACC isn't far away, save Clemson and FSU.  They just took SMU.
