Over the last 3 years we're 1-7 in conference, and 3-5 the year before that. Current year is back to 3-4, probably 3-5...

Actually it's the opposite. My point is everyone wants to fire SP thinking a new coach will provide better results. Nothing in our history or in these examples proves that.

I don't disagree with any of that but you never know until you try. I think Pittman has peaked so why not roll the dice with someone else? Every coaching search is a crapshoot and unfortunately we usually crap out. Our track record says we probably will again but if we're not even gonna try then we all just need to accept who we are as a football program.

You can't really judge history when you hire only one coach that was a proven coach. That was Petrino. No other coach we had was worth their pay and we all knew that in a short period of time.

Because, and I will say this one more time, money isn't the only equation.  No one wants to play for Sam and any talent he does get will underperform.  Sam's done whether we realize it or not.  If he comes back next year we don't see five wins and we're looking for a coach with half a dozen other big programs in the SEC.

I'm still trying to follow your logic.  I was saying that Kiffen could take the 2024 Razorback team, and beat the shit out of the 2024 Ole Miss team.  If you don't agree with that, fair enough, but if Kiffen could do that, are you saying it's not a coaching issue, and they're essentially peers?

Thank goodness Yurachek knew better than to hire that loser and opted for Pittman instead.

I don't think we lose to OSU, and also feel like we finish the aTm game if Kiffin is in charge.  But maybe not.

By the way, that too is coaching. 

Loses to Kentucky, LSU, Florida and Georgia this year. 
Better year last year with loses only to Bama and Georgia. 
Relatively ugly year in '22 with loses to Arkansas, LSU, Bama, Ms State and Texas Tech in a bowl.

100% agree. Pittman has not made a coaching decision that costcus a game. Kiffen, who coaches like he's playing Madden, is his own worst enemy.

We lost to OSU 100% due to turnovers.

I'm not saying Pittman is better than Kiffen. I'm simply saying he would produce slightly better results at best. We have a talent problem. We are not gonna get where everyone on this board wants to be until that us addressed.

We have to agree to disagree.  Pittman has gotten leads and then given them back by going uber cautious.  I think we're a lot of games better had we hired Kiffen.  He would have recruited a lot better here than Pittman has.  He would have gotten a lot more money for NIL than Pittman has. No question in my mind that he would have inspired a lot more confidence in the fan base, and gotten more support at a grass roots level for NIL.   

Off subject, but when Pittman made the crack about Kiffen getting Cadillacs and Pittman getting Walmart players, I would have JCP'd his ass at the locker room entrance after the game.  Insulting your own players, as well as a huge donor to the school in one sentence.  Not to mention getting shit stomped.  Man, fuck that guy.

Odom might be willing to keep at least Bobby, but forget what we risk losing if we fire Pittman.  What do we risk losing if we keep him?  We're going to go back to "We only players that want to be Razorbacks" because no one is going to come here with expectations of winning or becoming pro-ready, not with Sam at the helm.
