The interesting thing about "Josie" that I learned is much of the guitar music is from several guitarists they even split the up strokes from the down strokes...very cool production quality to Aja...unlike a Dan Enos offense.

He tried to come back already this season too early to help his team and fucked his knee up even more. Helping his team do what exactly?  Get that important 3rd win? Maybe wreck his knee trying to get us to a shitty meaningless 6 win team bowl game?

Would you tell any academic student to put off an internship in their field because they will miss glee club recitals?  It's the same thing here.  Rocket is here to get to the next level, and he's got a problem to solve if he hopes to get into hiss chosen field.

Rocket has to get that knee fixed and rehabbed before the combine in March.  He has four months.  He should have stayed hurt and not returned.  I hope he fixes his knee, goes to a combine academy, and has a slam dunk combine and pro day.  In this awful market for RBs he has to do that to go on the third day. If the knee is sloppy he's a UDFA and chasing a practice squad slot somewhere.

In my view, playing would do as much to boost his pro stock as anything. I don't mean playing and continuing to do more damage to his knee (if there really is anything wrong with it). I mean playing and demonstrating that he can play through difficulties. 

But I know that is not in sync with the current "do anything to protect that possible future pro" attitude.  I just don't think it is right.  Obviously that doesn't bother you.  Ok.  Fine.  Doesn't change my mind at all.

And I will add, if I were paying him NIL money, I'd want it back

And you know this how?  Because the reports I have seen are pretty damned vague.  I am not saying he isn't hurt, maybe he is, but they damn sure are clouding the issue by not really telling us anything.  And don't tell me they "don't want to say too much" because it will hurt his draft status.  The pros will make damn sure they check that knee out before the draft.

We didn't hemorrhage players to the portal. The players that left weren't going to play much here. We don't miss Simeon Blair do we? Hornsby? Jackson Woodard? Catalon?

Every team, every year will have multiple transfers...that's not just an Arkansas/Pittman thing.

He had a scope at the end of camp. Maybe not hurt as much as slow to recover. He's too overweight to be effective too. I don't see him being a good NFL back.

This year's defense is a hell of a lot better than last year's version.  Not sure where you're getting that.

The biggest addition via the portal was Blair's departure, although I don't know that the current staff would have insisted on playing him nearly every snap the way Odom and company did.
