I dont want ever want to hear Chuck Barrett ever mentioned in the same sentence with the University of Arkansas ever again. From the bottom of my heart, he fucking sucks. I refuse to ever listen to another game that idiot ever calls (basketball or football). He could never lift Eells jock strap. Mike Nail was all right, but my God is Chuck Barrett's voice is the antithesis of play by play basketball.

Nail was great until his voice went from all the cig smoking. He actually did the radio in 2006 during that 10-win season and sounded pretty good.

I can tolerate Chuck's football PBP, but you're right in that his basketball PBP is sorely lacking. Wish they'd let Scott Inman do basketball.

And the football broadcasts are ruined by Quinn and Geno Bell. I get that you want to have former players but they provide almost nothing. Geno sounds like he never passed an English class in his life and Quinn isn't much better.

I was driving to Florida and driving back during both of the last two games so radio was all I had.

Also, our PBP guys would sound a lot better if we didn't suck.   I know it is unpopular but Chuck is not terrible at the sports announcing.

Chuck is awful.

I was in the Scott Inman crowd for a long time, and still think he or Phil could be a considerable upgrade.

On the radio front, Phil & Matt Jones is the only local radio program worth listening to, but now that I'm fully remote I'm never in the car at lunch.  Ruscin and Zach would be much better if they just wouldn't talk about sports.  The ancillary shit is usually entertaining.

That should get him fired right there.  The fix to that is as simple as an ass chewing at halftime in any of our games this year.  We may as well not even have a head coach.  Just have sort of a general manager to take care of off the field stuff, let the coordinators do their thing, and get people to come in every game and give motivational talks.

If only there was, like a "head" coach who could get on the radio and tell the "assistant" coach to "do the thing we did in practice."

I'm not sure I've seen KJ stare down receivers as much as he did in this one. Even when the line gave him more than 2 seconds, you could tell he was not going through his progressions. He has one option or check down. And he has to be the worst qb to have at the end of a half/game when you need to score. I know you want your qb to be calm in those situations, but damn. He's like a catatonic back there. No urgency whatsoever.
