Uhh what community service is required of you in your private job?  There is nothing in the concept of NIL that requires a player to go to an old folks home, Visit dying kids, or teach ESL classes to illegals.  If the coach makes them do any of that it's just pr.

I do have questions as to how basically a moneybag to a player is a tax deductible donation.  Is that 1099 income?  Hey Pooh are you filing quarterly with the irs?  Also I want full transparency made law on these.  How much does a golfer make or lady field hockey player make?  How much is KJ making?  How much is that shitty 62 making?  Also I would want the ability to go to the app and deduct money from 62 every time he whiffs a block or jumps the snap.  That should be tracked on the broadcast on the sidebar.

Up until a few years ago you could readily con yourself into believing most of these athletes actually gave a shit about who they played for because they were getting paid under the table.  Now that they are open mercenaries believing they care about anything other than money is like believing in Santa.

Ergo, getting wrapped around the axle about their results is a waste of time.
