We need to move on from Pittman. Pittman isn't budging. Yurachek is a dickless coward, just as he always has been. Apparently 6-6 in year 5 is A-okay for this program, even on the heels of 4-8.

Pittman still has some supporters in this fan base. He's "one of us" who loves the helmet. Nutt part deux, even down to the unwavering media support.

Can we ever have a coaching change without having to burn down the fucking program in the process?

Even Biddy, who without a doubt and by large measure has the highest IQ of the Hog beat and asks the "tough" questions, admittedly shied away today. He said in his walk and talk that it wouldn't do any good to come down on Sam by peppering him with a lot of questions "that we all know the answers to."

It's beyond time to change that narrative. Grill him. Send out an APB on Heresyourcheck after a loss. Ask him some questions. You know, do your damn job as a journalist.

i disagree. if you listened to his comments about pittman losing supporters after today, then why bother with the the obvious? the fans know it's a clusterfuck, the boosters know it's a clusterfuck, and pittman knows it too.

It's not an accident that HY put out a state of the union address about the program needing to find new revenue streams to help pay past players royalties on NIL. I feel like that was the building blocks for telling everyone we can't fire Tittboss.

I'm not sure I totally agree with the "it wouldn't make a difference" stance, though. I think you grill him until you get some sort of Captain Queeg moment (Caine Mutiny reference) where he goes off the rails and leaves Yurachek no choice.

but he has to weigh keeping pittman against the fans and boosters not paying for the same old shit. that could very well cost more in the both near and definitely in the long term.
