Well Briles lifted his skirt one too many times and Pittman / HY decided to quit playing games.

Plenty of revisionist history here, the board was irate with Briles at times.

Enos forced too much of his offense, too soon. It failed. Unfortunately we got Miami Enos and not 2015-2016 Enos.

As for no OC wanting to come work for a coach who likely has one year remaining, I wonder if that isn't part of Yurachek's plan.

Have Pittman fire Enos now and give him time to find an acceptable replacement. By December if Pittman isn't able to attract someone that Yurachek approves of due to the dead man walking stigma, then go ahead and make the move to find a new Head coach.

I would figure any decision on whether to keep Pittman would involve his plan for replacing Enos and moving forward.  Kind of like his meeting with Anderson...if HY did that feel like there was a solid plan going forward, go ahead and make the move.

When it comes to the up and comer types I think we can do better. I think Kane is probably going to have to get a lower rung FBS gig prior to getting a real P4/P5 gig.

I mean something higher grade than a Sun Belt gig but not necessarily an elite mover and shaker program like Arkansas.

This.  Even if the players didn't get up and want to play for Enos, they still would have done it if they'd respected Pittman.

I just read an article about that, couldn't stand to watch.

Talking about Guiton and his offense, he used phrases like "in my opinion" and the like.

Yeah, that's very troubling. Add in other things we've heard in recent days, like he didn't know what to do during the game, and that his team's spirit is broken.

Does any of that sound like the alpha dog? Does any of that sound like a Type A HC personality in the midst of a monumental losing streak, where he'd rather die than lose another game?

this and stop reference to his team as " the kids". sounds like he is about to hand out orange slices.
