Arkansas lost its top commitment for the Class of 2024 just minutes before kickoff at Florida on Saturday when four-star wide receiver Courtney Crutchfield announced he was reopening his recruitment. Sam deserves 5 years.  He's won a couple bowl games.  Doesn't have an overall losing record.

Someone said he's Mike Anderson.  Decent coach but after Chad and Hellfrey we bottomed out and just wanted someone to make us not a laughingstock.  Sam and Mike did that. 

We've been competitive all year.  Losing yes, but not anywhere near getting blown out. 

Saban said it and others too.  We're a good team.  Just not winning or getting over the hump.  I agree that's not good but firing a guy who had us competitive until the end at Bama, Ole Miss and LSU doesn't make sense for us right now. 

He doesn't deserve 10 years like Mike but at least next year.

He's still making in-game mistakes, still playing and sitting the wrong players (where the hell was McGlothern for a month?), and our offensive success today actually sort of pissed me off because it confirms that Pittman unnecessarily flushed an entire season with a lazy hire in Enos and allowing him to overhaul our scheme.

I agree.  The announcers on today's game said that Sam said the remaining games were an interview of Guiton to see whether he would hire him for the job full time.  Hard to tell if that was announcer BS, but if true it doesn't sound like a man planning to retire next year.  Today's game likely got Sam off the hot, hot seat with the powers that be.  If he was ever on it.
